Jobcentre Plus is a government-funded employment agency and social security office that can be found in most cities, whose aim it is to help people of working age find employment in the UK. It was formed when the Employment Service merged with the Benefits Agency and was renamed Jobcentre Plus in 2002. It is a part of the Department for Work and Pensions.
JARVIS TRAINING MANAGEMENT

Link-Up approved companies go onto a database maintained by Achilles from which Train Operating Companies and Principal Contractors will select contractors and invite them to tender for work in the rail environment. Given the dangerous nature of the rail environment, the approval process is very demanding and companies wishing to become Link Up approved must pass a Link-Up Proof Scheme Audit. This involves a visit by a Link-Up Auditor who will audit the Company’s Management Systems, Personnel and Infrastructure, to ensure they meet Network Rail’s stringent standards for safety, quality and environmental performance.

The London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP) is the local enterprise partnership for London. The LEAP brings entrepreneurs and business together with the Mayoralty and London Councils to identify strategic actions to support and lead economic growth and job creation in the capital.

The South East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is the business-led, public/private body established to drive economic growth across East Sussex, Essex, Kent, Medway, Southend and Thurrock. The South East LEP will inject almost half a billion pounds worth of Government investment into the area through its Growth Deal. The Deal will see at least £84.1 million invested in the SE LEP area in 2015-16, supporting the delivery of up to 35,000 jobs and 18,000 new homes and over £100 million in private investment over the period to 2021.
